You may opt-out of all communications except essential updates.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Sharing of Information

All information collected by Lighthouse is for its own use. By submitting your e-mail address on the Platform you provide your consent and agree to receive e-mail communication from Lighthouse. By registering your e-mail address with our mailing list, you provide your consent and agree to receive e-mail marketing from Lighthouse, affiliates of Lighthouse, or marketing partners of Lighthouse.

Lighthouse allows users to interact with the Platform by submitting information related to real estate sales, purchases, leases, and business sale information. Submitting content to the Platform allows you to share your real estate information with other users. By submitting content, you agree to allow Lighthouse to publish this information on the Platform.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

You may choose to share certain information. You may also choose to share your activity on other platforms, such as Facebook, Google and Twitter. Please read the privacy policies of those platforms, and any others you may use, because your Lighthouse activity published on those platforms will no longer be governed by Lighthouse’s Privacy Policy.

Lighthouse will not publish user e-mail addresses anywhere on our website, print them in our mailings or marketing materials, or otherwise disclose your e-mail address without your consent.

Users, at all times, have the ability and the option to stop receiving e-mail communications from Lighthouse; unsubscribe from our mailing list; or remove their personal information from the Platform by contacting [email protected]

Lighthouse will not sell user information to third parties, except that it retains the right to use third-party analytics tools to track aggregate user statistics for its own use. Lighthouse may share information with marketing partners if Lighthouse determines it will enhance Lighthouse’s ability to serve your commercial real estate needs.

Please note, however, that Lighthouse reserves the right to surrender user information (1) if we believe Lighthouse has been used to commit an unlawful act, (2) if the information is subpoenaed, (3) or if Lighthouse is sold or acquired.

Comments

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Your Data Rights

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Third Party Links/Websites

Lighthouse may contain links to third-party owned and operated websites. By accessing those links, you understand that you are leaving the Platform and the terms of this Policy will not apply to your activity on other third-party websites. Lighthouse is not responsible for the content, or the privacy and security practices and policies of other third-party websites. Third-party websites may have their own privacy and user security policies. Lighthouse is not responsible for any content on third party websites, or securing or maintaining the privacy of any information they collect or you provide to them.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
